Cheryl brings over 30 years of healthcare experience, having served as a Recreation Therapist, infant photographer, and newborn hearing screen coordinator. Known at St. Peter’s Hospital as the “baby whisperer,” Cheryl spent 19 years there, helping families and newborns with warmth and dedication.

A passionate advocate for children and families, Cheryl fell in love with Dry Tikes after volunteering and witnessing firsthand the care and compassion extended to families in need. She believes deeply in the organization’s mission to meet basic needs with dignity.

Cheryl and her husband Ted are former small business owners and active members of the community. Her leadership in event planning led her to the role of “Queen of Events” at the Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce. She now works for the Washington Secretary of State as the Program and Event Specialist for the Productivity Board Program—a perfect fit for someone who loves the pomp and circumstance of politics!

Cheryl is a proud wife, mother of two sons (a deputy sheriff and a PE teacher), and grandmother to one energetic grandson and two sweet granddaughters. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, creating junk journals, and designing for Christmas in the Forest for St. Peter's Hospital
